The Case of the Lost Skull Kit

Grades 6–8. For 30 students.

A mysterious animal skull has been left outside your school with money stuffed inside of it, a shoe print beside it, and other potential trace evidence in the area. This introductory forensic science unit shows your students how to address the question of who put it there. Students analyze fingerprint, blood, hair, fiber, imprint, and documentation evidence over the course of about 5 days.

Kit includes activity materials plus printable teacher instructions, student worksheets, and suggested cross-curricular activities on a USB flash drive.
