Pictured above are AYVA’s president Dianne Beveridge, and her colleagues Laureena Ssali and Shanil Vaja. Ashley Fitzgerald of KUKA Robotics was also on hand to demonstrate and answer any questions from students and teachers.
Top student representatives from across Canada competed in their respective fields at the National Skills Competition held in Toronto on June 5 & 6.
AYVA was amongst the 70 employers, associations, labour groups, training institutions and government partners in attendance. AYVA provided a hands-on, interactive experience for students and teachers alike to try both a KUKA robot and our latest product line, SOLDAMATIC, an augmented-reality training program for welding. These activities were met with great success as many students and educators tried their hand at these demonstrations.
