This Tilt model adds ergonomic benefits to all the other benefits of our popular Carolina® Infrared Bacteria Sterilizer. Adjusting the pitch/angle of the heated chamber provides easier access for the user. Sterilize instruments in just 5 to 7 seconds at 1500° F (815° C). The heater element is an asbestos-free ceramic core that can be used to sterilize platinum loops, needles, glass tubes, pipet mouths, and many other instruments. The heater element is safely enclosed to protect users from accidental contact. A “standby” temperature setting extends the element’s usable life. Optional accessories include a Loop Holder Attachment (item #703401) that keeps loop handles from overheating and melting during sterilization, and a Slide Dryer Attachment (item #703402) for drying up to 3 slides quickly and safely. 120-V AC.
