Description
This is one of the largest ciliates known. The organism’s digestion can be studied by feeding it ciliates such as Paramecium or Spirostomum. Optimal medium: Carolina® Springwater + Ciliates (Paramecium or Spirostomum). Optimum growth temperature: 22° C.
Culture contains enough material for a class of 30 students. A free dropping pipet is included. Please state the expected use date and allow sufficient time for proper handling.
