Description
Commonly called bird’s nest fungus because the fruiting bodies resemble a bird’s nest filled with eggs. It has a worldwide distribution and grows on dung. It is cultured on nutrient straw/dirt at 25° C in a jar. Fungi cultures are labeled by name and media on which they are cultivated. Cultures are guaranteed for purity and genera. Fungi should be incubated at room temperature (25° C).
