Description
A microscope slide with cross, radial, and tangential sections of Pinus strobus (white pine) wood mounted together for comparison. 15 µm. Demonstrates bordered pits, Bars of Sanio, uniseriate and fusiform rays with resin ducts. Rays are nondentate and resin canals have thin-walled epithelial cells. Safranin stain.
