The Dianne Beveridge Memorial Award was established by AYVA Educational Solutions and PASCO Scientific to honour Dianne Beveridge, our founder, colleague, and friend who passed away in June 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Education grants will be awarded to both extraordinary teachers and students who have a passion for science, technology, engineering, and/or math.
- In association with the University of Waterloo, an entrance scholarship will be given to a science student.
- Represented by the Bay Area Science and Engineering Fair (BASEF), a product credit grant towards PASCO equipment will be awarded to a local teacher.
- AYVA will award one secondary teacher -Canada wide- for their invaluable role in a student’s life. To apply, the application link is listed below.
One annual award, valued at $2,000, will be given to a student entering Year One in the Faculty of Science. Selection will begin in the Spring of 2023 and will continue until 2027. The Student Awards & Financial Aid (SAFA) will select a recipient based on academic excellence and extracurricular involvement.
One award, valued at $2,500, will be granted as a product credit for PASCO equipment to an Ontario Certified Teacher who teaches science, technology, engineering, and/or math from grades 7 to 12 and is from a publicly funded school board in the BASEF catchment area. The recipient will be selected by BASEF and AYVA based on a written application best explaining how the funds for PASCO equipment will be used in the classroom.
One annual award, valued at $1,000, will be given to a secondary teacher who has been recognized by their colleagues as one who instill a love of learning in their students by teaching science, technology, engineering and/or math, better equipping them with the skills needed to excel in society.
