High School Earth & Environmental Sciences

Environmental investigations may be the most adventurous of all the high school sciences.  Not content to limit explorations to the confines of the laboratory, the environmental science teacher may often trek their students to various local field sites to explore science in the ‘real world’.

We offer several environmental sensors and dataloggers that support your environmental curriculum including, but not limited to, the Weather Sensor, Dissolved Oxygen, Conductivity, pH, Colorimeter and Turbidity, and Soil Moisture. These sensors can connect to a wide variety of mobile devices including phones, iPads, Chromebooks and tablets to display recordings in real-time and can also collect data independently for extended periods.

The new Wireless Weather Sensor collects temperature, humidity, UV, wind, and more. SPARKvue software is now compatable with ArcGIS, allowing for GPS data analysis and visualization. Students can also export their data and load into a map at ArcGIS.com.
